C3 Church Lane Cove has a vibrant and thriving women’s ministry! Our aim is to help women to discover who they are in God and to achieve their God-given destiny. Our Women’s Events and other regular women’s Connect Groups are a great opportunity to connect with other women and with God.

On April 16-17 of 2012 the first Women’s 24 for C3 Lane Cove was held. Here’s what some of the Women said about it:

Women’s 24 `Beauty for Ashes’ Testimonies March 2012

“God revealed Himself to me in all kinds of ways over the weekend. I always knew that I could lay my problems etc. before Him, but had never really thought about what I am given in return. Shredding my `ashes’ was really powerful. Never having been on a weekend like that before, I found being with all my ‘sisters’ from church was such a joyful experience. It was fabulous!”(from Ros)

“Sweet and unforgettable.….the part I loved the most was when we shredded the paper with our `Ashes’ on it and also when were anointed with the `oil of joy’. The pairing up of  beauty for Ashes; the oil of joy for mourning and garment of praise for spirit of heaviness inspired me a lot – now I begin every prayer or talk to God with praising Him.” (From Kathy)

“The main thing I learned from the Women’s 24 event was “Don’t weep over the past when God is giving you cause to rejoice now”.  Hanging onto regrets over the past will rob me of what God is giving me now.  I gave Him my regrets.”(From Barb)

“There was a quarrel between my cousin and grandma that really made me feel terrible. They even stopped talking to each other. Since I am living far away from them so I cannot do anything for them – this made me feel sad.  But when I threw the paper with my anxiety into the shredder, I just felt a lot more relaxed. HE will take all the worries away and return the peace and beauty back to me. I am so thankful to God for His love!”(From Jessica)

“God is good! From Isaiah 61 “Beauty for Ashes”, thank God, that through His own way He revealed himself to me again and made me realise what a wonderful and loving God He is! At first, I was skeptical about going to the women’s event. But God is Great! He makes a way for His people no matter the circumstances are, because He knows what’s going to happen! The worries, resentment and anxieties that built up in my life over the years – God overcome it all. By His wounds, stripes and the power of His blood that shed onCalvary, I am set free once again! Indeed victory belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ! Put on the garment of praise – dance and sing unto the Lord for He is Lord! Hallelujah! (From Yolly)

“What a wonderful way to get together with all my other lovely sisters from our C3 Church Lane Cove at the Women’s 24 event. I loved the chance to get to know some ladies in a deeper way through the event, but most of all I heard God speak to me very clearly: Forgiveness is by choice. Often I find it easy for me to forgive others but it has been very hard for me to forgive myself. As a single Mum, often I feel I am not good enough for my daughter. The feeling of wanting to quit has been with me for some time now – it made me feel very heavy. After the process of exchanging our ashes for God’s beauty, I feel so much love and strength from God.  He helped me to a find new way to live again! What an awesome God.
